I blog because its a great outlet when life gets stressful or I just want to feel like I am having a conversation with someone over the age of 8.

I actually started blogging back in early 2000. That blog went defunct when life caught up with me.

Daily life, what crazy thing one of my kids said, things I can’t/won’t tell my family about. Anything that strikes my fancy.

No Reason Needed

What Smart Mommies Know

Don’t worry about becoming a “popular” blogger. Blog about what you want to blog about, when you want to.

I know everyone likes to have readers and fans, they come in time, no matter what you blog about. Spend time on other blogs, comment on their post. Its way more fun to cultivate blogging friendships then to spend your time cultivating traffic.

YES! Some great conversations, and great blog post have come from the random comment!

I have not disclosed my blog to my friends or family. I can’t “blog guilt free” if I am always worrying about upsetting someone. I might someday, but for now, I prefer that its just mine.

The only forum I visit on regular basis now days is
http://www.Fishingfordeals.com and it is strickly to feed my shopping addiction.

I blog when the mood strikes me. Some days I will blog two or three times, somedays not all.

I like Blogger for blogging, mainly because it is easy and I am lazy. I am working on learning HTML and CCS and plan to eventually move to WordPress, or my own site just so I can have more freedom on design.

I probably spend 10 hours a week, when I should be doing homework, reading and visiting other blogs.

I really like Stumble Upon. I also like checking other peoples blog rolls for new sites.

I first heard about blogging ” back in the day” when blogger first came on the scene. Back then having your own free “homepage” with Homestead and AOL was all the “rage”, and blogger shot on the scene for people that just wanted to write, but not have to deal with all the HTML and design aspects.

I honestly do not remember. Yes, I am old.

Everything. I never know when something is going to hit me and I have to just write. It often does not make sense, and requires lots of editing, but I never know when its going to hit. Some days I am just locked up tight and can’t write a single word.

No, I don’t really need one.

Blogging is a great outlet for venting, being silly, writing about what you wish you could say in “real life.” Some times you just have to get it out there and then let it go.
