Interview with Carrie from “Mommy Brain”

I blog for so many reasons! I love having an outlet for all the jumbled thoughts that rattle around in my head. I also like the record it helps me keep of our family and my kids’ homeschooling. And by far the best thing about blogging is the community of friends I’ve found.

I started blogging in January of 2005.

Anything and everything. You will find a lot of posts about books because reading is my obsession. I blog about my kids and the cute, annoying, wonderful, and exasperating things they say and do. I write about my faith and our homeschooling adventure and movies and music and lots more.

Oh, I don’t know how to pick a few without hurting anyone’s feelings! I have an extensive blogroll on my site – those are the ones I read on a regular basis. I guess I’ll list a few of the blogs that inspired me to start my own: Atypical Life, Author Intrusion, Fallible, Guilt Free Homeschooling, Quiet Life, Semicolon, and Writing and Living. Since then, the list of blogs I love has grown and grown.

I love comments! I try to answer them all, although there isn’t always time.

My mom and one of my sisters read my blog – and my hubby pops in occasionally.

I visit the Atypical Homeschool Forum fairly often.

I blog at home whenever I can snatch a few minutes!

Learning – from books and from other people.

I am a Go-To Mom for Homeschooling at Club Mom. You can find my articles on my profile page.
