I love the community I’ve fond through blogging. It’s a scrapbook of our lives that we can all look back on someday. I also blog to get the word out on issues that I’m passionate about.

I started blogging back in 2007 when our 2nd daughter was born.

Don’t worry about having a niche. Everyone makes it seem like your only supposed to blog about one topic. Blog about what your enjoy, your passion.

I do! I love chatting through comments, and email.

My dad and a few of my friends read my blog. I don’t have an exact number.

I think my favorite forum is http://www.thebabywearer.com

I blog at anytime of the day or night that I can. I’ll also email myself posts topics, or write them down so I don’t forget.

Since having our 3rd child, the time has been much less. I’ll read a few blogs a few times a week. I try to blog at least twice a week. It can take me hours to get a blog post done, or days. Thankfully blogger automatically saves for me.

My husband and children inspire me. They make me want to be the best wife and mother I can. To leave behind a legacy that they will share with their family, and friends one day.

I have a Facebook “fan” page at http://www.facebook.com/themahoganyway
Also a Facebook group for Parents of Color. We discuss Attachment Parenting, Natural Living, etc…

I love blogging! I feel like my voice is heard. I don’t know how loud I am, but I love having a voice, and people are actually listening. They care about what I have to say!
