It started out as it just being an online journal & then it gradually progressed. Being a military family, we often live away from friends & family, so now I like to share what it going on with our lives especially now that we live in Japan.

I originally started on a social media network in 2008. But then switched it all over to an actual blog a year ago in May 2009.

I blog about our life in general. Sometimes it is a vent about my kids or the difficulties of being a military family. Sometimes it is about the joys of living in Japan while other times it is just my random thoughts.

Just get out there & enjoy yourself! Share what you want to share, or not. Don’t worry about the numbers or you will become overwhelmed!

Definitely!

Yes. I know my mother-in-law reads it as do several friends.

Yes I do. I have been a member of different online forums since 1998. However right now the only one I am active on is http://theblogfrog.com/104191

I blog from home mostly whenever the feeling strikes.

I’d say about an hour or two a day.

I heard about it through a friend who often read my journal on Myspace. She had a blog that she updated often on Blogger & then eventually moved over to Vox.

I have definitely opened up a lot more since blogging. I very rarely shared important topics with strangers much less friends in person. I love that I am not as afraid to share my beliefs or thoughts with others anymore! It’s so freeing!
