I’ve been through a few blogs, but I started my first blog when we left for the Middle East the first time back in 2007.

Usually, it revolves around my feelings about parenting a special needs child. I wasn’t expecting the journey to be so hard and to have so many bumps.

Sometimes, I do! It all depends on what they are talking about. Often times my readers are the ones with the best advice, so I always comment thanking them for their help!

Yes, it is one of the best ways for my family and friends who don’t live close to keep tabs on the baby and our lives.

Since I work, I usually spend only an hour or so each day crafting my entries and reading others’ blogs. On the weekend though, they can sometimes rule my life!! My husband has to remind me to pay attention to him. Oops.

The first blog I ever read was my friend Tim’s blog. He writes about literature and his work with genocide research. He is brilliant and I love him.

I am wholly inspired by music. I find spirituality, faith, peace, and comfort in notes, harmony and melody. I listen to, play, and experience music in all forms and it is truly my one inspiration.

Well, I write for a fansite of my favorite TV show, Glee. I also have a website for my son, who we call Potato.

I have definitely been encouraged and challenged by many of the women that I have met through 5 Minutes for Mom, especially those going through the death or illness of a child. I have learned from them that it is ok to be honest with yourself and with others. And that is one of the greatest lessons I have learned.
