Um…well, there were all these letters on this keyboard thingy, and if you touch them in just the right way, you can actually communicate with them! I’m amazed.

I started blogging when I was pregnant with my first son, in 2006. But really I started blogging in my head when I was about 12 years old.

I like writing about the silly or more light-hearted aspects of parenting. I also have a soft spot for getting children to spend time playing outside, especially in nature, and sometimes I write about that. Occasionally, I do reviews or giveaways.

Jump in there and be yourself!

Oh yes! I loooove e-mail conversations or talking on Twitter. Oh, wait — is that what you were asking?

A few. But honestly, they get enough of me in real life, so….

I participate in local forums at MomsLikeMe.com and MomsMiami.com.

The conditions have to be just right. First, I stand on my head in the shower. Then I have to sing to my turtles while I feed them. They are right next to the computer, so they will give me the evil eye the whole time if they aren’t well fed. I can’t take that kind of pressure.

It really varies.

No.

It seems like so long, I can’t even remember!

A travel blog?

Fresh air and sunshine, trees, my baby’s fuzzy not-quite-hairy head, my preschooler’s dimple, massages from my cat, things that are colorful, mama bliss, beautiful music, sunsets and walks on the beach. And all too often, chocolate.

Reading other parenting blogs has made me a better parent. It helps me realize I’m not alone. There actually are people out there crazier than I am.
