I’ve always loved to write. I’ve always loved to share my ideas with others. I’ve always played my life out like a movie script in my head with music playing in the background. Blogging gives me the opportunity to do all three of those things in a unique and creative way.
That, and it’s the only time that I can talk without being talked back to!

About three years ago, but I didn’t go public with it until late 2008.

Most of my posts are about motherhood. I feel like there are so many unrealistic expectations placed on moms by themselves and by each other. I like to think I “Keep It Real”. If something funny happens, I blog about it. If I have an embarrassing moment, I blog about it. If I have a bad day, I blog about it. Motherhood isn’t glamorous, but it IS hilarious. I like to try and capture the humor and organic beauty that motherhood affords me.

Be yourself. Find blogs and sites that you like, but always stay true to yourself. Also don’t force yourself to blog if you’re not in the mood for it. I’m all about quality, not quantity.

What did I say before about talking back???
Kidding.
Yes, I love to chat with visitors through comments. I do moderate all of my comments. However, I did just add an “Ask The Mama” section. We’ll see how that goes.

Yes. All of them do. They know they have to or else they risk not knowing what’s being said about them.

Thanks to my iPhone, whenever and wherever I want!

My kids inspire me more than anyone else in this world. They motivate me to want to be a better person because I want them to be better than I am.

I run a shop on Etsy called Bella Beebo specializing in personalization and boutique gifts.

I’ve always wanted to have an impact on other people’s lives, but the older I’ve gotten the more introverted I’ve become. Blogging gives me the avenue to reach out to others through my writing in a way that I couldn’t or wouldn’t be likely to do face to face. It also helps me be a more mindful parent. There are so many tiny but amazing nuances you can miss if you rush through life. In the beginning, knowing that I needed to “find material” helped me pay more attention to things. Now, it is just part of my moment to moment life to be RIGHT THERE and experience everything to the fullest.
