Parenting By Trial and Error

I blog for both personal and professional reasons. As a freelance writer, blogging gives me a platform for writing in the parenting genre, as well as for the book I’m working on. I also find that daily blogging hones my writing skills.

I started blogging in February 2008.

I blog about parenting, family life and issues, kids, discipline and anything else child/family-related.

Take a look at other people’s blogs, particularly blogs with the same subject matter as yours. I learned a lot about blog design, buttons, content, etc., just by browsing.

Yes, I love to chat with my visitors through comments. Soon, I hope to develop my site into a place where true discussions can be held.

Yes, my friends and family read my blog. At least they say they do. ;)

I blog at home, usually after I put my kids to bed. I’m a night owl, so I do my best work at night.

I spend probably an average of a half an hour a day writing for my blog and another fifteen to twenty minutes reading others’ blogs.

I’m inspired by nature, my kids, music, rich stories, wine and books.

My freelance writing website, Sarah E. Ludwig

Blogging has impacted my life in several different ways. It has given me a vehicle to showcase my writing, as well as a way to keep a permanent record of my kids’ doings and sayings. It also inspired the idea for my book.
