I blog to share my life with my family who do not live close to me, as well as meet more people online.

I started blogging back in 2006 as a way to showcase my Papercrafting Hobby. Now it’s a review blog mainly but I still share my cards.

I’m a newbie technically myself, but here’s my advice:
1 – don’t copy someone else’s posts and try to pass them off as your own. It’s okay to share – we all love link love, but make sure that you Link back to them and change words.
2 – Search engine Optimization (SEO) is very important for you and your blog. Read up on it as much as possible. My Page Rank (PR) increased from 0 to a 3 in just 5 months with hard work and diligence.

Usually if they leave me a cool comment, and I can reply via email, I will, otherwise, I’ll go to their blog and respond that way. So, Yes!

Yes.

I belong to a few forums but I don’t really visit any of them frequently, because I’m spread out so thin. But… I belong to Deal Seeking Mom Forums, Pitch Blogger forums, and Extraordinary Mothers forum. I try to visit each of those at least once a week. I also belong to SplitCoastStampers forum, which is a scrapbooking/cardmaking forum.

I usually blog daily but I also work full time as well as being a single mom, so it depends on what is going on in our lives at the time. I blog at my blog, A Simple Kinda Life.

Honestly, it varies. Anywhere from an hour a day to 3 hours a day.

I have used BlogCatalog to find blogs that I might be interested in.

The papercrafting world.

Probably 5 Minutes for Mom.

The experiences I have had in my life, as well as my children, inspire me. You wouldn’t believe the stories that I have to tell!

Not at this moment.

I’ve met some great women out there! I definitely have learned more about myself and people as a whole. I read a wide variety of blogs so I’m definitely encouraged by them! From Kingdom First Mom to Mommy Snacks, they all have shared something personal and I thought, “wow… it’s not just me!” Or “YES! Thanks! I needed that today!”
