There are at least a dozen times a day I wish I could turn to another adult and ask, “Do you believe that?” My blog lets me do this. Thanks for reading it.

I started blogging when we moved to the deep, deep, DEEP South in 2008. Back then, I had a private site just for friends and family who were too far away to see my girls as much as they would have liked.

I try to blog when my girls are asleep, but sometimes something so ridiculous happens, I feel the need to put it on the blog immediately. I have a memory like a sieve; if I don’t write things down quickly, I lose them.

Like so many other women who blog, I am inspired by my kids. They are amazing, frustrating, intelligent, kind, selfish, curious, infuriating, ravenous creatures who constantly amaze me.
