My new years resoultion was to write. So that at the dawn of 2010, I can look back and see a years worth of writing and documentation of my family’s daily life. And so that instead of just praying to God to use my life and make my purpose known, I am praying and trying something at the same time. As if my attempt at writing is another way of asking, “This Lord? Is this my calling?” I guess after sometime, I will know the answer to that question.
And I do not limit my maker…
I am fully aware that the answer to this question will surprise me despite my attempts to discover it on my own. So I write on. I do not spend hours proofing and rewriting, I simply purge whatever happens to be on my mind at the time. Sometimes the entries are about nothing at all… just like this one.
Perhaps others will miraculously find themselves being gazed upon the exact reader who is supposed to read it at the exact right moment.
Perhaps.

My kids- they are funny kids.

I love quiet moments when I can find them that allow me to settle down and hear the whispers on my maker. “Well done, I agree that was pretty funny,” is what I like to imagine him (or her) saying.
