Keeper of the Cheerios

I blog because I really enjoy sharing the things I know and learn about on my journey through parenthood with other moms.

I started blogging on Keeper of the Cheerios in February of 2008.

My life, my children, new recipes that I find and my family loves, parenting tips, craft ideas, and lots more!

*When I need to laugh I visit Cheaper Than Therapy.
* When I want to learn something new or stay up to date on what’s going on around the blogosphere I visit Jessica Knows.
* When I need new ideas for decorating my home on the cheap or just need a little inspiration I visit Thrifty Decor Chick.

It’s extremely hard to pick a favorite when all of these blogs are great for so many different reasons.

Just stick with it and don’t get discouraged. Never forget the reasons you started blogging to begin with and eventually everything else will just fall into place.

I love to chat with my visitors. I try to reply to as many comments as possible in a day.

My husband and my sister read my blog. Doesn’t worry me though because I don’t write rants about my family.

I visit the Mom Bloggers Club, The Classy Closet, and my own forum and group, Blogging Parents, regularly.

I write on my own blog, Keeper of the Cheerios. You’ll also find me as a contributor on the Label Daddy blog and Cool Baby Kid.

Just reading and writing? Probably about 3-4 hours a day. That doesn’t include the time I spend on blogging forums, twitter, and responding to 20 million emails though.

Not usually on technorati although that is a good idea but I do like to save blogs I love to my faves so they’re easier to find. I do however like to visit Alltop and take a look around occasionally.

This question always makes me laugh because I started out as a member of Online Sweepstakes. That’s right, sweeper turned blogger! I became a frequent reader of quite a few different blogs that I found while entering some of their giveaways and eventually decided to start blogging “just for fun.” I never expected to be where I am now but I’m totally loving what I do.

If I’m remembering correctly I believe it was The Not So Blog.

I’m inspired by my family the most.. never is a day in my house dull and boring! But I’m inspired by a lot of things- a cool new craft or tutorial I read about, a yummy recipe, a topic that needs to be talked about whether it’s personal or just general… I think as bloggers EVERYTHING is inspiration.

no.

I’ve made some truly amazing friends because of blogging. People that I might not have known otherwise have become some of my best friends.
