I blog primarily to keep friends and customers up to date on my sewing business, but I also throw in some personal tidbits I find interesting and want to share.

I started blogging in June 2008

I normally blog about new products in my Etsy shop, teammates and their Etsy shops, and activities going on in my teams – like giveaways and sales.

I love to keep up with my Etsy teammates’ blogs! A list of them can be found on my blog.

Blog what you know, and what you feel comfortable sharing. This is your realm, so you decide what’s involved.

I would if more readers left comments – I especially love it when other bloggers comment, and I can then jump right to their blog and check it out!

Yes, a few do.

I’m involved in team chats mostly with my Etsy teammates.

Anytime I can, and usually at the kitchen table.

I spend several hours a week keeping up with reading my favorite blogs, and a few hours a week writing when I have something to share.

Sometimes I search, but usually I find other blogs through other bloggers.

I started reading craft blogs and other Etsy shop owners’ blogs.

Etsy’s Storque

My family inspires me to continue growing in my love of art and design, and everyday life usually does the rest.

I’ve learned there are a lot of lovely folks out in the world that I would never have connected with without my blog – so much fun, and very rewarding!
