I have always loved to journal. After being married 3 months I found out I was pregnant with our first child Bethany. When she was 5 months old, I became pregnant with Joseph. I tried to keep their baby books up and kept a short book of stories about them. In May 2008, our third child Jenna was born.
I desired to really do something for myself again. I had given up so much of the things I did for my own enjoyment to be a devoted wife and mother. Journaling in this new tech savvy way, is perfect. I get to write about my life, and make friends and have adult conversations in the process.
For me blogging is a way to preserve this precious time in my children’s lives. I am creating a legacy for them to read about.
I am learning that being a parent isn’t about having it all together, therefore God saw me and decided I’d make a great parent. Rather, it’s about God giving me children to work in my life and teach me lessons.

I started blogging in July 2008.

I blog about my children, the funny things they say, and the lessons they teach me. Every now and then, when I can’t help myself, I’ll blog about my sweet hubby. My blog is full of lessons God teaches me, but also about things and products I love.

I do try to leave comments back with those who comment on my blog. If some one leaves me a comment or becomes a follower, I definitely check out their blog too.

I blog several times a week in my cold, unfinished basement. Usually, I clear my mind at the end of the day, often late at night. It just varies, I am a mother you know, nothing is certain . I dream of the day I’ll have a laptop and can blog on the couch, or even, sweet mercy, in my bed!!
