Interview with “Seduction Meals”
“Seduction Meals”

To celebrate two universal passions in life: food & romance

I started blogging in 2008. Although I have been working with the idea for Seduction Meals for years.

Primarily recipes that you can mix and match to create a special romantic meal for two. Although you will also find recipes for cocktails, a page that features must have CDs to help set the tone of the night. There is a music playlist on the home page. I also feature tips on cooking with spices, and feature great cookbooks and must-have-products. I am also a huge fan of chocolate so there are many articles on Chocolate Seduction. I just started incorporating how-to videos and I am in the process of shooting Seduction Meals videos.

There are many food bloggers that I enjoy following such as 101 Cookbooks, Smitten Kitchen, Matt Bites, David Lebovitz, Steamy Kitchen and No Recipes to name a few.

Be passionate about your topic and dedicate at least 2-3 times a week to blogging. The most important thing is to Have Fun; however be prepared…. it may take over your life. As long as you are having fun, that might not be a bad thing.

I lOVE when people comment on the site, and try to respond to everyone if a question is posted. I also have a newsletter and the sign-ups have been growing steadily. Both of these types of communications with readers are priceless and encourage bloggers to keep at it.

Yes, many do. And I cherish each one for their support.

I blog as often as I can–about 3 times a week. I blog from New York.

Way to much I am sure, as it is not my full time job. I would say I spend about 20 hours a week working on my blog. At least.

I do. I also do a lot of research on my own to find topics and blogs that interest me.

A friend of mine knew I was working on Seduction Meals as a brand concept and sent me a link to a blogger’s site — that changed everything for me.

Art, good food, music, people, friends, family, great wine, beauty, travel, and stories of hope and generosity.

No, this one is plenty! I am amazed there are some bloggers out there with 3-5 sites.

For me, blogging has opened up doors to many new, interesting people, connections and business partners. I am having fun with the whole process and have many ideas to keep this alive for quite some time.
