So This Is Holland?

I blog to share with other hydro moms the ups & downs of life with a hydro baby. Because there is such a wide variety of ways these beautiful babies are affected, you never know if your experience will help another mom. I know I was helped by other hydro mom’s blogs, this is my way of giving back. Plus, blogging is much, much cheaper than therapy!

I started at the end of 08′

My youngest son, “Little Man” and what he is doing/not doing. Currently, we have embarked on the craniostenosis journey. I also blog about my oldest son, “Capt. Chaos”, pets (chickens!) and my family.

Oh my! Three are alot! I try to keep up with as many hydro baby blogs as I can, I also read “Because I Said So” by author Dawn Meehan and the Pioneer Woman- Ree Drummond; both ladies are a hoot & a holler!

Hmmm, I’m still real new to this myself. The only thing I would say is to just be yourself. After that, whatever else you need to learn, you’ll pick up along the way.

I love comments! Don’t we all? I’m still figuring out if I should answer questions by leaving a comment on my own or the questioner’s blog or in my next post. Its one of those things I am learning to do as I go along:)

My hubby knows of my blog, but I don’t think he has read it. I have told some friends/family about it, but I don’t think they are regular readers.

I recently joined a few forums about cranio kids. So far, all the parents have been very nice & supportive.

When my 2 yr. old is busy with toys or asleep, or when hubby is at work. When he is home, we try to do family things, but blogging is addictive!

I read when I can catch a few minutes here & there. I stay logged on all day just so I can do this. I do spend more time reading other blogs than blogging on my own:)

I found the hydro blogs I read through FetalHydrocephalus.com. All others I found through other blogs!

I was fowarded the now famous email about Dawn’s “adventure in Grocery Shopping” and the subsequent Ebay auction of the Pokemon cards. I then went to her blog & laughed until I cried.

Because I Said So

My children, other parents, my hubby, I could go on & on.

nope

I find it to be very cathartic & theraputic, much cheaper than therapy and when reading other blogs, very informative. I am constantly learning about new therapies, treatments and simply new ways to do old things.
