Interview with Lori from “Myah’s Page”
“Myah’s Page”

I enjoy blogging because it’s allowed me to share our experiences with others; at the same time learning from many wonderful blogs. I have been able to connect with incredible families who truly relate to our family and our unique journey.

I ususally blog about my daughter who was born with a rare chromosome deletion and the joys of raising her. I also blog about my other sweet daughter and the ongoings of our little family.

I enjoy many blogs, but have found a wonderful group of bloggers through http://5minutesforspecialneeds.com.

Love it! Comments for visitors lift my spirit on a daily basis so I try my best to reciprocate.

Most of my family and many friends read our blog. I feel it has been a wonderful way for them to stay in touch with our family. I don’t think my family fully understood our situation with Myah until I started to blog about her. It’s been a very informative experiecnce for all of us.

Home. When children are asleep.

My children inspire me everyday. I love being a mother and want to do it well. I feel if we listen to ourselves, we can all be inspired to do the right thing. My faith inspires me; I am LDS and love the inspiration I get from my faith.

I have another private blog where I write more personal information about our family. This keeps me connected with loved ones who live far away.

Blogging has surely been a learning experience for me. I didn’t think I would share so much about myself or my life, but I’m finding it to be good therapy. I love uplifting blogs and try to read encouraging words daily. I’ve been influenced to try some great ideas with my family, or to read a good book, etc. I don’t enjoy any type of negative bantering and stear far away from any such sites.
