I just love telling stories, sharing pictures, joking about my life and sharing craft info with other bloggers.
I try to share funny insights, ideas and advice about raising girls, especially tweens. I try to help Moms focus on raising girls to be strong smart women, and not let the media and the beauty industry destroy our girls self image.
Just write like you are chatting with a girlfriend – candid. I started out writing more towards an audience and in time I relaxed and made it more fun and personal. People like to read a personal insight not a structured report.

No, my family is blog impaired. I try to explain it and they stare or change the subject. People either love blogs and get addicted or just don’t get it at all.

I’m a private duty night nurse and I have several hours at night to use for blogging and I love it. The hours fly by….and it’s morning!
The way I find new blogs to read is to check out the blog roll on my favorite blogs. Actually you start jumping from blog to blog and forget where you started…I’ve heard it’s called “whurfling”- you can loose hours of your life , but on the bright side its fun and relaxing. We all need to relax more!

I’m reading lots of nursing blogs and forums right now and getting motivated to move my nursing career in a totally new direction. I’ve been in patient care for 32 years and I am heading into education and informatics. Informatics is the combination of nursing documentation and computer technology. Very Interesting! New branch of nursing and I learned all about it online.
