Why Do I Blog?

I blog for me. I blog because it keeps me sane. The life of a SAHM gets pretty chaotic. It seems I order is usually not present most of the time, but on my blog it is. I can talk about the chaos of being a Mommy, but it’s all there.. organized and orderly..Unlike the living room, kitchen, playroom, heck.. the whole house.

I blog because I love to write. My Sippy Cup Runneth Over and Momma Findings are my outlet.

I started blogging about in December 2007. My life seemed to be going crazy. Both my children came down with Pnuemonia, we just moved to a new city, and my husband and I were having Marital Problems.

I read in a Bible Study that you can improve your prayer life by writing it out instead of quiet time or in addition to. That’s how it started. I started writing my prayers in a Blog, then my thoughts, my cries, then my laughs, my personal life came into “animation” right before my eyes in my blog. It’s amazing and very theraputic.

I consider myself a newbie, but I guess my advice would be.

“Don’t get overwhelmed. There are soo many experienced Mommy Bloggers out there and as you stumble upon them all it might make you feel inadequate in your writing, layout, or content. Remember, there is soo much to learn and have fun doing it. Write for you and nobody else.”

I LOVE meeting new Comment Friends!! I love to chat, email, and just build my own circle of bloggin’ Momma’s!!

I have a few friends and family who read it, but aren’t online or Bloggers per se. One friend insisted I have it emailed to her everytime I publish because she stays away from “networking” sites. I get a joy from all of my offline/online readers.

I visit a few forums, but not like I used to.

My FAVORITE time to blog is in the morning while I’m drinking my morning cupa joe. That usually lasts about 30 minutes before the baby starts pulling my legs. It’s always better when they are sleeping.

Not to sound really really cheesy, but My Lord Jesus inspires me. The Bible inspires me. Women who aren’t afraid to share their Faith openly and proudly inspire me. My Children and Husband inspire my writings each and every day.

I have 4 blogs I contribute to, but these are my loves:
